Visit the northernmost capital in the world and some great, nearby attractions on this short tour. Your tour arrangements include accommodation, airport transfers and guided excursions from Reykjavik.

Day 1 Reykjavik Arrival
On arrival at Keflavik Airport, transfer by airport bus to your hotel. The city centre is a small area characterised by eclectic and colourful houses, good shopping, dining and drinking. Reykjavík has recently established itself as a haven for food lovers, with numerous restaurants taking advantage of the abundance of local seafood, meat and game.

Reykjavik has many wonderful museums including the National Museum displaying artefacts from the first settlement to the modern age, giving an excellent overview of Iceland’s history and culture, the Reykjavik 871+2 Settlement Museum, an archaeological museum based around a 10th-century Viking longhouse unearthed in 2001, the Reykjavik Art Museum and the National Gallery.

Day 2 Reykjavik: City Sightseeing and the Blue Lagoon
Today enjoy a short Reykjavík city tour. See the home of the world's oldest parliament, the modern church Hallgrímskirkja, the lake in the centre of the city inhabited by numerous waterfowl, modern suburbs contrasting with the older parts of the city with their colourful little houses and much more.

In the afternoon take the non-guided coach transfer from the city to the Blue Lagoon. Drive through rough lava fields to visit the Lagoon, where you can relax in the aquamarine, rejuvenating geothermal waters, rich in minerals and believed to have healing powers. Return to Reykjavik on the coach at the conclusion of your visit- you can choose between several departure times.

Day 3 Reykjavik: Golden Circle
This exciting excursion takes you to three of the "must see" sights of Iceland. Drive around the fertile lowlands of Southern Iceland and visit one of Iceland's most magnificent waterfalls, Gullfoss, then the erupting hot springs in the Geysir area, and finally the outstandingly beautiful Þingvellir National Park where the world's oldest parliament was founded in the year 930, and where the European and American tectonic plates meet in a spectacular setting.

Day 4 Reykjavik: Departure
Arrangements end with your transfer by coach from your hotel back to Keflavik Airport.
