Day 1 Helsinki Departure
Make your own way to the ferry terminal in Helsinki for the evening departure to St. Petersburg on the ferry at approx. 19:00hrs. Accommodation in A Class outside cabin including buffet dinner.
Day 2 Welcome to St. Petersburg: Panoramic City Tour and Visit to Hermitage Museum
Breakfast on the ferry then morning arrival in St. Petersburg at approx. 09:00hrs; disembark and meet with your guide in the terminal, and enjoy a panoramic city tour featuring the major highlights such as the Admiralty, St. Nicolas Cathedral, Palace Square, Smolny Convent and Peter and Paul Fortress, and a visit to St Isaac;s Cathedral. After a light lunch, enjoy a guided tour to the famous art filled Hermitage Museum, formerly the Czar´s Winter Palace, where the vast collection includes Old Masters, Impressionists and much more. Then transfer to your hotel for the night.
In the evening an optional ballet, opera, circus or folkloric performance is offered.
Day 3 Imperial Jewels: Choice of Excursions to Catherine's Palace, Peterhof Palace or Yusupov Palace
Breakfast at the hotel, then choose between a guided excursion to one of 3 wonderful St Petersburg jewels; Catherine´s Palace in Pushkin including the famous Amber Room, Peterhof Summer Palace and gardens or the Yusupov Palace, the treasure filled former private palace by the river where Rasputin allegedly met his end. In the late afternoon, transfer to the ferry terminal for your departure from St. Petersburg on the ferry back to Helsinki at approx19:00hrs. Accommodation in A Class outside cabin including buffet dinner.
Day 4 Helsinki Arrival
Breakfast on the ferry then early morning arrival into Helsinki at approx. 08:00hrs, disembarkation and end of arrangements.

The Yusupov Palace is a private palace formerly owned by one of the wealthiest St Petersburg imperial families, and is situated on the banks of the river. It is a lavishly decorated and beautiful small palace, where one of the most dramatic episodes of the history of Russia took place, the murder of Grigory Rasputin.
The Peterhof Summer Palace is a magnificent ensemble on the Gulf of Finland, built in the 18th century as the summer residence of Russian czars with enormous parks and beautiful fountains (please note the fountains at Peterhof only operate from May to August)
The beautiful Catherine´s Palace in Pushkin is one of the former Imperial summer residences with the world-famous Amber Room.
