Cruise by ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki, on to magnificent St Petersburg to see the city's highlights, then to  medieval Talinn, and finally back to Stockholm, without needing a Russian visa.

Your tour arrangements include 4 nights onboard the ferry in an A-class outside cabin with breakfasts and buffet dinners on board, 2 nights in an hotel in St Petersburg with daily breakfast, a panoramic city tour of St Petersburg, a guided excursion to the Hermitage Art Museum or Yusupov Palace, a 2nd guided excursion to either Catherine's Palace in Pushkin or Peterhof Summer Palace, plus a departure transfer to the ferry wharf in St Petersburg. So there are no hidden extras!

2 nights are spent at your hotel in St Petersburg and 4 nights onboard the ferry.

Day 1 Wednesday Stockholm Departure and Overnight On Ferry
Make your own way to the ferry terminal in Stockholm for the evening departure at around17:30hrs. Overnight in an A Class outside cabin, including a buffet dinner.

Day 2 Thursday Helsinki: Day at Leisure
Arrival into Helsinki at around 11:30hrs; disembark and time at leisure. Perhaps visit the Senate Square,  Uspenskij Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, the New Opera House, the Sibelius Park & Monument, the Church in the Rock and the harbourside fish stalls and markets. Then make your own way back to the ferry wharf for the departure at around 19:00hrs. Overnight in an A Class outside cabin, including a buffet dinner.

Day 3 Friday Welcome to St. Petersburg: Panoramic City Tour 
Breakfast on the ferry then arrival into St. Petersburg at approximately 09:00hrs. Disembark, meet your guide in the terminal and enjoy a panoramic city tour  featuring the city's major highlights - the Admiralty, St. Nicolas Cathedral, Palace Square, St Isaac's Cathedral, Smolny Convent and a visit to Peter and Paul Fortress. At the conclusion of the city tour you will be dropped off at your hotel, where you will stay for 2 nights.

Tonight, an optional ballet, opera, circus or folkloric performance is offered.

Day 4 Saturday Choice of Excursions - Hermitage Art Museum or Yusupov Palace
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a guided excursion to either the famous, art-filled Hermitage Museum,  housed in the former Tsar's Winter Palace and with vast collections displayed in the magnificent State Rooms, OR Yusupov Palace, a private palace situated on the banks of the Moika River and once owned by one of the city's wealthiest imperial families; small, yet lavishly decorated, it saw one of the most dramatic episodes in Russian history... the murder of Grigory Rasputin. 2nd overnight at your hotel in St Petersburg.

This evening an optional ballet, opera, circus or folkloric performance is again offered.

Day 5  Sunday Choice of Excursions - Catherine's Palace or Peterhof Palace: St Petersburg Departure
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by your further choice of a guided excursion to either Catherine's Palace in Pushkin, a spectacular former Imperial summer residence with the extraordinary Amber Room,OR Peterhof Summer Palace, a magnificent ensemble on the Gulf of Finland, built for the Russian Tsars in the 18th Century, with enormous parks and beautiful, gold fountains. (Please note the fountains only operate from May to August).  At the end of your chosen excursion, you will be transferred to the ferry terminal to board the ferry which departs from St. Petersburg at around 18:00hrs. Overnight in an A Class outside cabin, including buffet dinner.

Day 6 Monday St Petersburg - Helsinki - Tallinn  
Breakfast on the ferry then a short stop in Helsinki port before continuing on to Tallinn, arriving at around 12:30hrs. Disembark and spend some time exploring beautiful Tallinn. This rich, medieval town was forgotten for 50 years in Soviet times, as a consequence of which it is still extremely well preserved. Kilometres of winding cobblestone streets, red rooves, watchtowers in the walls that surround the Old Town, and a magical, storybook setting of medieval houses make Tallinn, one of the oldest cities of Northern Europe, one of the most charming. Then make your own way back to the ferry wharf for the early evening departure, bound for Stockholm, at around 18:30hrs. Overnight onboard in an A Class outside cabin, including buffet dinner.

Day 7 Tuesday Stockholm Arrival 
Breakfast on the ferry before your morning arrival into Stockholm at around 09:30hrs. After disembarkation, your tour arrangements conclude.

2018 departures: 04 and 18 April; 02, 16 and 30 May; 25 July; 08 and 22 August; 05 and 19 September; 03, 17 and 31 October; 14 and 28 November; 13 December.

The programme may be adjusted due to varations in the opening hours of the palaces and museums in St Petersburg and minor changes to the ferry timetable. Ferry passengers of all nationalities can enjoy St. Petersburg for 72 hours without a Russian visa.
