Cruise by ferry from Helsinki to magnificent St Petersburg, then on to historic Tallinn and finally on to Stockholm. Enjoy 3 days in St Petersburg, without needing a Russian visa.

Your tour arrangements include 3 nights onboard the ferry in an A-class outside cabin with breakfasts and buffet dinners on board, 2 nights in an hotel in St Petersburg with daily breakfast, a panoramic city tour of St Petersburg, a guided excursion to the Hermitage Art Museum or Yusupov Palace, a 2nd guided excursion to either Catherine's Palace in Pushkin or Peterhof Summer Palace, plus a departure transfer to the ferry wharf in St Petersburg. So there are no hidden extras!

2 nights are spent at your hotel in St Petersburg and 3 nights onboard the ferry.

Day 1 Friday Helsinki Departure and Overnight On Ferry
Make your own way to the ferry terminal in Helsinki for the evening departure to St. Petersburg at approximately 19:00hrs. Overnight in an A Class outside cabin, including a buffet dinner.

Day 2 Saturday Welcome to St. Petersburg: Panoramic City Tour 
Breakfast on the ferry then morning arrival in St. Petersburg at approx 09:00hrs. Disembark, meet your guide in the terminal and enjoy a panoramic city tour  featuring the city's major highlights - the Admiralty, St. Nicolas Cathedral, Palace Square, St Isaac's Cathedral, Smolny Convent and a visit to Peter and Paul Fortress. At the conclusion of the city tour you will be dropped off at your hotel, where you will stay for 2 nights.

Tonight, an optional ballet, opera, circus or folkloric performance is offered.

Day 3 Sunday Choice of Excursions - Hermitage Art Museum or Yusupov Palace
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a guided excursion to either the famous, art-filled Hermitage Museum,  housed in the former Tsar's Winter Palace and with vast collections displayed in the magnificent State Rooms, OR Yusupov Palace, a private palace situated on the banks of the Moika River and once owned by one of the city's wealthiest imperial families; small, yet lavishly decorated, it saw one of the most dramatic episodes in Russian history... the murder of Grigory Rasputin. 2nd overnight at your hotel in St Petersburg.

This evening an optional ballet, opera, circus or folkloric performance is again offered.

Day 4 Monday Choice of Excursions - Catherine's Palace or Peterhof Palace: St Petersburg Departure
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by your further choice of a guided excursion to either Catherine's Palace in Pushkin, a spectacular former Imperial summer residence with the extraordinary Amber Room,OR Peterhof Summer Palace,  a magnificent ensemble on the Gulf of Finland, built for the Russian Tsars in the 18th Century, with enormous parks and beautiful, gold fountains. (Please note the fountains only operate from May to August).  At the end of your chosen excursion, you will be transferred to the ferry terminal to board the ferry which departs from St. Petersburg at 19:00hrs. Overnight onboard in an A Class outside cabin, including buffet dinner.

Day 5 Tuesday St Petersburg - Tallinn  
Breakfast on the ferry before your arrival into Tallinn at around 09:00hrs. Disembark and spend some time exploring beautiful this small, charming place- a rich, medieval town that was forgotten for 50 years in Soviet times, as a consequence of which it is still extremely well preserved. Kilometres of winding cobblestone streets, red rooves, watchtowers in the walls that surround the Old Town, and a magical, storybook setting of medieval houses make Tallinn, one of the oldest cities of Northern Europe, one of the most charming. Then make your own way back to the ferry wharf for the early evening departure at around18:30hrs. Overnight onboard in an A Class outside cabin, including buffet dinner.

Day 6 Wednesday Tallinn - Stockholm
Breakfast on the ferry and morning arrival into Stockholm at around 09:30hrs. After disembarkation, your tour arrangements conclude.

The programme may be adjusted due to varations in the opening hours of the palaces and museums in St Petersburg and minor changes to the ferry timetable. Ferry passengers of all nationalities can enjoy St. Petersburg for 72 hours without a Russian visa.
