This economical tour enables you to see the highlights of the Baltic capitals whilst staying at your choice of three or four star city accommodation.

Extra nights can be added before or after the tour.

Day 1: Arrival Vilnius
Arrival in Vilnius - Capital of Lithuania and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, welcome meeting in the hotel with your tour representative and your fellow travellers.

Day 2: Vilnius City Sightseeing and Trakai Castle
Start the tour with a morning sightseeing tour of 
Vilnius, including visits to the medieval as well as modern sections of the city. Visit the Grand Cathedral of Peter & Paul, the small church of St. Anna – a gem of Gothic architecture, the University of Vilnius and more.

In the afternoon enjoy an excursion to the medieval capital of Lithuania,Trakai,  on Galves Lake. On the beautifully situated island in the middle of the lake there is the 14th century red brick castle which now houses the History Museum.

 Day 3: Vilnius – Riga via Hill of Crosses and Rundale Palace
Morning coach departure for Riga, Latvia. En route stop at the famous Hill of Crosses- the place where more than one thousand amazing crosses have been erected over many years, forming an
extraordinarily moving sight and sound- the crosses play an eerie musical melody when the wind blows. Also see 18th century Rundale Palace, the Duke of Courtland’s former residence. Lunch is included along the way. Upon arrrival in Riga, check-in at your hotel.

Day 4: Riga City Sightseeing, Art Nouveau Treasures and afternoon at leisure
After breakfast enjoy a Riga city sightseeing tour. The Old Town will delight you with the colourfully restored merchant’s residences, the cosy beer cellars and cafes, many historical monuments like the Dome Cathedral, St. Peters Church, the Powder Tower and more. View the numerous masterpieces of early 20th century Art Nouveau architecture that make the city so unique. The afternoon is at leisure to further explore on your own.

Day 5 Riga: Sigulda, the Knight's Castle and Gutman Cave
Today, take the excursion to Sigulda, often called the "Latvian Switzerland" due to the beauty of its landscape. Also see the 13th century Knight’s Castle, and the mysterious Gutmana Cave, linked to a romantic medieval love legend. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 6 Riga: Tallinn via Parnu and Ethnographical Museum
Morning coach departure for Tallinn, Estonia, with lunch en- route. Enjoy views of the Baltic Sea Coast along the way, together with a sightseeing orientation of Parnu, and a visit to the interesting open air Ethnographical Museum on the outskirts of Riga, to see traditional and historical rural Latvian dwellings, buildings and artefacts. On arrival in Tallinn, check in at your hotel.

Day 7: Tallinn Old Town Sightseeing, Kadriog Park and Palace
Today start with a Tallinn sightseeing tour in the medieval Old Town. Then in the afternoon enjoy a wonderful tour to Kadriorg Park & it's pretty baroque Palace, founded in 1721 by the Russian Emperor Peter the Great as a gift to his wife Catherine II, to use as a summer residence.

Day 8: Tallinn Departure
Arrangements end after breakfast with a transfer to the airport.
