On this marvellous tour you visit Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Oslo, beofre continuing on to explore the beautiful fjords and sights of Norway.

Day 1: ARRIVE STOCKHOLM
Arrive at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and transfer to your hotel. Your tour escort will meet you at 19.45hrs (before dinner) in the hotel lobby. Dinner and accommodation at Clarion Hotel Sign, a centrally located first class hotel.

Day 2: STOCKHOLM: CITY SIGHTSEEING & OLD TOWN (GAMLA STAN) 
After your Scandinavian buffet breakfast, a 4 hour guided tour of Stockholm awaits. Famous sights include the Royal Palace, Parliament Buildings, the island of Djurgården and the Old Town (Gamla Stan), with its narrow cobbled streets and numerous antique shops. A tour highlight is a visit to City Hall with its famous Blue and Golden Rooms, where the Nobel Prize Banquet is held each year. Afternoon free in Stockholm. We recommend a visit to the impressive Vasa Museum or one of the popular canal tours. Please note that dinner is not included tonight, but your tour escort will gladly assist you with table reservations at one of the fabulous local restaurants. Accommodation at Clarion Hotel Sign.

Day 3: STOCKHOLM - HELSINKI:  MORNING AT LEISURE & CRUISE THE ARCHIPELAGO
Morning free in Stockholm for exploring this beautiful city, often called the Venice of the North because of its many canals and waterways. We recommend you enjoy one of the many canal boat tours. Afternoon coach transfer for embarkation on Silja Line ferry at 16.45hrs. Start your cruise to Helsinki, sailing slowly through the Stockholm archipelago past numerous small islands. Buffet dinner on board. Choice of entertainment, shops, casino, bars. Accommodation is in 2-berth outside cabins (seaside) with shower/WC.

Day 4: HELSINKI - STOCKHOLM: CITY SIGHTSEEING & AFTERNOON AT LEISURE
Enjoy your buffet breakfast, as you sail into Helsinki. You retain your cabin on the ship. Morning, 3 hour guided tour of the Finnish capital. Famous sights include the Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, Sibelius Park & Monument, Underground Temple and more. Afternoon free for shopping or exploring this bustling city on the Baltic. 17.00hrs departure on Silja Line; return to Stockholm. Dinner and accommodation on board.

Day 5: STOCKHOLM - COPENHAGEN: SWEDISH COUNTRYSIDE
After a delicious buffet breakfast on board, arrive back in Stockholm at 09.30hrs. Tour continues by coach through the pleasant countryside of Southern Sweden to Lake Vättern, where we stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Malmö, then cross the new Øresund Bridge to arrive in wonderful Copenhagen during the early evening. Dinner and accommodation at the Admiral Hotel, located close to the Amalienborg Palace, the old Nyhavn harbour and the pedestrian streets. 

Day 6: COPENHAGEN: CITY SIGHTSEEING & TIVOLI GARDENS
The day starts with a 3 hour guided tour of the city, during which you will see Amalienborg Palace (residence of the Danish Royal Family), Christiansborg Palace (seat of the Danish Parliament), Gefion Fountain, the old harbour of Nyhavn, the famous Little Mermaid and many other popular sights. Afternoon at leisure. We can recommend a tour down the popular pedestrian shopping street of Strøget, or a visit to Rosenborg Palace. Your tour escort will provide you with entrance tickets to the famous Tivoli Gardens. Please note that dinner is not included tonight. Accommodation at the Admiral Hotel.

Day 7: COPENHAGEN - OSLO:  CRUISE KATTEGAT STRAITS
After a tasty Danish buffet breakfast, morning free in Copenhagen for shopping and sightseeing. Afternoon coach transfer to the DFDS Seaways terminal for your overnight cruise to Oslo at 16.30 hrs. Enjoy a Scandinavian buffet dinner as you cruise gently up the Kattegat. There is dancing and entertainment on board, or you may prefer to sit out on deck and watch the sunset. Accommodation is in 2-berth outside cabins with shower/WC.

Day 8: OSLO: CITY SIGHTSEEING & AFTERNOON FREE
A delicious buffet breakfast is being served as you cruise along the enchanting Oslo Fjord. Arrival in Oslo at 09.30 hrs, followed by a 3 hour guided tour of the Norwegian capital, including the impressive Vigeland Sculpture Park. Afternoon free in Oslo. We can recommend a visit to the Viking Museum, the Munch Museum or a stroll along Karl Johan shopping boulevard. Dinner and accommodation at Radisson BLU Plaza Hotel Oslo, ideally situated close to the Karl Johans Gate. 

Day 9  OSLO - ULVIK: VALLEYS, MOUNTAINS & WATERFALLS
After breakfast, visit the famous Viking Ship Museum. Then depart from Oslo, driving via Hønefoss along the charming Halling Valley to the tourist resort town of Geilo. Buffet lunch at Bardøla Mountain Hotel. After lunch, cross the wild Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli, stopping to view the thundering Vøringsfoss Waterfall with a vertical drop of 180m, the highest in Norway. 
Dinner and accommodation at Brakanes Hotel, ideally located on the banks of the fjord.

Day 10  ULVIK - BERGEN: HARDANGER FJORD & A FASCINATING HANSEATIC TRADING CITY
After breakfast, descend amazing Mabodal Canyon to idyllic Hardanger Fjord and cross Hardanger Bridge. Start a scenic drive along the fjord, famous for its many orchards, via Øystese and Norheimsund towns. Arrive in Bergen around midday for lunch at a local restaurant, before a 2 hour, afternoon tour of Bergen. This will include a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled packhouses, and also the old Hanseatic Quarter. You will ride on the funicular to Mt. Fløien, for the best views of city and fjords way below. Accommodation at the First Hotel Marin, centrally located next to the old Bryggen harbour and close to the pedestrian shopping streets. 

Day 11  BERGEN - FLÅM - BALESTRAND: JOURNEY ON THE FAMOUS FLAM RAILWAY
After breakfast, depart Bergen and drive via Dale to Voss town and b
oard the beautiful Bergen Railway train, bound for Myrdal mountain station. From there, ride on the amazing Flåm Railway - a masterpiece of engineering which descends 2838 feet in less than 1 hour. The journey will take you to the fjordside village of Flåm, with many photo opportunities along the way of waterfalls and mountain scenery. After a short rest in Flåm, start an almost 2 hour cruise along narrow Aurlands and Nærøy Fjords, both branches of Sogn Fjord, the world's longest and deepest fjord. Enjoy spectacular cascading waterfalls, sheer mountain cliffs, snow-clad peaks and a variety of wildlife. Disembark in Gudvangen at the head of Nærøy Fjord and continue by coach through the amazing Stalheim Canyon and Nærøy Valley, across the Vika Mountains to Vangsnes, for a short ferry crossing to beautiful Balestrand. Accommodation at Kvikne’s Hotel, superbly located on the banks of the fjord and surrounded by mountains.

Day 12  BALESTRAND – A DAY IN THE FJORDS
A day at leisure in Balestrand gives you the opportunity to enjoy the outstanding beauty and nature of the fjords. Start with a traditional Norwegian buffet breakfast in the hotel’s elegant dining room as you decide how to spend your day. This morning, you may want to relax on the hotel terrace, breathing in the fresh mountain air and enjoying spectacular views. Or you may like to visit the local aquarium and art gallery, rent a bike or rowing boat from the hotel, or even go on foot up to the nearest mountains. A walking tour of Balestrand village, with its historic buildings and other noteworthy sites, can also be arranged. Dinner and accommodation at Kvikne’s Hotel.

Day 13  BALESTRAND - GEIRANGER: GLACIERS, WATERFALLS & GEIRANGER FJORD
After breakfast, depart by ferry from Dragsvik to Hella, before a scenic tour along the northern side of Sogn Fjord. Continue by road to Fjaerland, passing under Jostedal Glacier (Europe's largest), then on to Skei Village at the northern end of Lake J
ølster. Descend to beautiful Nord Fjord, making a detour at Olden to visit world-famous Briksdal Glacier. The journey up to the glacier will be made in open cars to give you the best views. Afterwards, a typical Norwegian lunch will be served in sight of the glacier. Afternoon and the tour continues via Loen and Stryn, to picturesque Hellesylt village. From here, by ferry for the 1 hour cruise along spectacular Geiranger Fjord, possibly the most impressive of all the Norwegian fjords. During the cruise, you will pass close to some magnificent waterfalls, such as the Bridal Veil and Seven Sisters. Dinner and accommodation at the Union Hotel, overlooking Geiranger Fjord.

Day 14  GEIRANGER - OSLO: SERPENTINE ROAD, VALLEYS AND LAKES
From atop famous Serpentine Road, you have the opportunity to digest some amazing views of the fjord, before crossing the rugged Grotli Mountains to Lom, well known for its 14th Century stave church. 
The tour continues via Lake Vågå before descending magnificent Gudbrands Valley to lovely Lillehammer, where we stop for lunch. Afterwards, the journey continues alongside Lake Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake, back to Oslo. Dinner and accommodation at Radisson BLU Plaza Hotel Oslo, centrally located close to the Karl Johan shopping boulevard.

Day 15: OSLO
The tour ends after breakfast, with transfers to Oslo Gardermoen Airport to connect with your flight.
