Day 1 Reykjavik Arrival
Arrive Reykjavik and transfer to your hotel. Time at leisure.

The city centre is a small area characterised by eclectic and colourful houses, good shopping and dining. Reykjavík has recently established itself as a haven for food lovers, with numerous restaurants taking advantage of the abundance of local seafood, meat and game.

Reykjavik has many wonderful museums including the National Museum displaying artefacts from the first settlement to the modern age, giving an excellent overview of Iceland’s history and culture, the Reykjavik 871+2 Settlement Museum, an archaeological museum based around a 10th-century Viking longhouse unearthed in 2001, the Reykjavik Art Museum and the National Gallery.

Day 2  ATV & Golden Circle Express – 9.5 hours
Today you will drive an ATV to the top of Mount Hafrafell before joining the Golden Circle tour in the afternoon, to discover Iceland's most famous sights. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Listed (2004) Þingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament AlÞingi was established in 930 AD. Continue to the double falls of Gullfoss waterfall and then the spouting hot springs around Geysir and Strokkur. 2 persons per vehicle. Solo driver supplement applies. Drivers must produce a valid driver's licence. Minimum age 6 years

Day 3 Glacier Adventure – 10 hours
This exciting snowmobile adventure takes you to the top of Mýrdalsjökull glacier, for wondrous views of South Iceland, once of Iceland's most scenic areas. Visit Skógar Folk Museum to get a taste of how Icelanders lived in past centuries. Stop at Iceland's two most famous waterfalls - Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind and through the other side, then majestic and much-photographed Skógafoss. 2 persons per snowmobile. Solo driver supplement applies. Drivers must produce a valid driver's licence. Minimum age 6 years.

Day 4  Lava Cave & Geothermal Adventure - 10 hours
Drive through beautiful Borgarfjörður towards Húsafell. On the way, stop at Europe's most powerful hot spring, Deildartunguhver before arriving at magnificent Hraunfossar lava waterfalls. After a break in Husafell, head to Víðgelmir cave, one of the largest natural lava caves in the world. Start an adventurous, guided walk, through the cave's array of colours, as you learn about its history and geological uniqueness, dating all the way back to the Viking age.
