This tour takes you from Oslo to Bergen via the town of Stavanger, where you will cruise to the famous Pulpit Rock. You can do the tour in reverse, and add it to the Norway in a Nutshell tour to see the fjords as well.

Day 1 Oslo Arrival
Arrive in Oslo and make your own way to your hotel.  Enjoy some of Oslo's fine museums including the Viking Ship Museum, the Fram Polar Expedition Museum, the Kon Tiki Museum and Vigelund Sculpture Park. Also take a stroll through the old wharf area of Bryggen, now bustling with bars and cafes.  Visit the Munch Museum, the Maritime Museum and the KonTiki Museum, or Akershus Fortress.  Overnight and breakfast at Thon Hotel Opera or similar.

Day 2 Oslo - Stavanger 
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before making your way to Oslo's Central Station for departure by train to Stavanger. The train departs Monday - Saturday at 07.11 and arrives at 15.03 and travels past narrow fjords, wild mountains, open seas and the coastline. On arrrival in Stavanger make your own way to your hotel. (N.B. On Sundays the Oslo-Stavanger train has a departure at 11.11hrs and arrival at 19.18hrs.) 2 nights at Clarion Hotel Skagen Brygge or similar. 

Day 3 Stavanger: Pulpit Rock Cruise
Breakfast at your hotel then make your own way to the ferry wharf for the cruise to Prekestolen (Pulpit Rock), east of Stavanger. From 15 May-15 September the cruise departs daily at 10.00 hrs or at 14.00 hrs. This amazing sightseeing tour takes 3 hours, with the famous Pulpit Rock in the starring role – and an impressive supporting cast of waterfalls, idyllic islands and magnificent scenery. On board the boat there is a sun deck and kiosk. 

Day 4 Stavanger - Bergen 
Beakfast at your hotel before making your own way to the Stavanger Bus terminal for the bus to Bergen. The bus travels along the scenic coastline to Bergen and the journey takes approximately 5hrs. Bergen is a lively city beautifully situated on the fjord & surrounded by 7 mountains, with a long history as a Hanseatic trading port. Walk along Bryggen, the historic old wharf area with timbered houses, formerly the homes and warehouses of wealthy merchants, explore the fish and flowers markets and enjoy a meal in one of the many cafes and restaurants of this lovely historic Hanseatic town. And make sure you take the funicular ride up to Mt Fløien for a panoramic view of Bergen and its surroundings. On arrival in Bergen make your own way to your hotel for the night. Overnight and breakfast at Hotel Augustin or similar.

Day 5  Bergen Departure
Breakfast at your hotel and end of arrangements.

Departures: Daily 15 May - 12 September 

Includes: 4 nights accommodation with breakfast daily, train/bus tickets, Pulpit Rock cruise.
