Day 1 Oslo Arrival
Welcome to Oslo, the capital of Norway. Make your own way to your hotel for overnight. Time to enjoy the city sights including the many fabulous museums - the Viking Ship Museum, the Fram Polar Exploration Museum, the Kon-Tiki Musem, the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History, the Munch Museum, Maritime Museum and many more. Stroll along the old Bryygen wharf area, now a bustling hub of outdoor cafes, bars and restaurants. Visit the fantastic architectural masterpiece that is the stunning new Opera House and perhaps take a guided tour of the Royal Palace.
Day 2 Oslo – Myrdal - Flåm: By Train including the Flamsbanen
Enjoy the scenic Bergensbanen train from Oslo to Myrdal, travelling through the countryside of mountains, valleys, rivers and farms, then change trains at Myrdal to join the world famous 20km Flåm Railway. This journey offers wild and beautiful scenery, through tunnels that spiral in and out of the mountain, manifestations of the most daring and skilful engineering in Norwegian railway history. The train ride finishes at the charming fjordside village of Flam, nestled deep in Aurlandsfjord and surrounded by steep mountains. Near your hotel, you’ll find the award winning Ægir Brewery built in the style of a Viking longhouse and the Flam Railway Museum. Dinner at your hotel and and overnight in Flam.
Day 3 Flåm – Gudvangen – Voss – Bergen: Cruise the Sognefjord. "Queen of the Fjords"
Today take the short walk from your hotel to the ferry wharf for a spectacular 2 hour cruise on the Sognefjord, Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord from Flam to Gudvangen. At Gudvangen board the bus for the exciting ride up the Stalheim Canyon past waterfalls and sheer cliffs, to the lakeside town of Voss. From Voss take the train to Bergen. This old Hanseatic trading city is full of history and tradition, an international city that has retained its small-town charm and atmosphere, and offers an exciting blend of nature and culture. Visit the Fish and Flower markets, take the funicular up Mount Floyen for amazing views, and explore the shops, cafes and centuries old wooden houses of the old wharf area. Overnight in Bergen.
Day 4 Bergen

Day 1 Bergen
On arrival make your own way to your hotel. Time at leisure - explore this lovely old Hanseatic trading city - see the Fish and Flower markets, visit the charming old wharf area and take the funicular up Mt Floien for spectacular fjord views. Overnight at Hotel Augustin or similar including breakfast.
Day 2 Bergen-Voss-Gudvangen-Flam
Today make your own way to Bergen railway station for the morning train through the green Norwegian countryside to the lakeside town of Voss. There you board the coach which takes you via the fantastic, twisting road traversing Stallheim Canyon and past spectacular waterfalls, to the tiny town of Gudvangen. Here you board the ferry for a spectacular 2 hr cruise on the Sognefjord, Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjorda to the pretty village of Flam, nestled by the shores of the fjord and surrounded by steep mountains. Near your hotel you’ll find the award winning Ægir Brewery built in the style of a Viking longhouse, shops and the railway museum. Overnight in Flåm including dinner and breakfast.
Day 3 Flam-Myrdal-Oslo
Today you will experience the world famous Flamsbanan train on the 20km ride to the mountain town of Myrdal. This journey offers wild and beautiful mountain scenery, through tunnels that spiral in and out of the mountain, manifestations of the most daring and skilful engineering in Norwegian railway history. At Myrdal cross the platform to take the train to Oslo riding through stark alpine scenery, past lakes and woodlands to Norway’s capital.On arrival in Oslo make your own way to your hotel. Overnight at Thon Opera Hotel or similar including breakfast.
Day 4 Oslo
