Day 1: Arrival in Reykjavik
On  arrival in Reykjavik transfer by airport coach to your hotel. Time to explore this vibrant city on your own. Whilst the city itself is spread out, the city centre is a small area characterised by eclectic and colourful houses, good shopping, dining and drinking. Reykjavík has recently established itself as a haven for food lovers, with numerous restaurants taking advantage of the abundance of local seafood, meat and game. 3 nights in Reykjavik.

Day 2: Ice Cave Tunnel Langjokull Glacier
Today's adventure starts with a drive through Borgarfjordur to the edge of Langjokull Glacier. On the way visit the Hraunfossar waterfalls, a series of waterfalls formed by rivulets streaming over a distance of about 900 metres out of a lava field.

When you reach Langjokull Glacier, it's time to board a special 8 wheeled glacier truck, that will take you on an adventurous journey to the entrance of the ice cave.  After nearly five years of studying, planning, and modelling by top engineers and world-renowned geo physicists and glacier specialists, the Langjokull Ice Cave, located high on Europe’s second largest glacier, is now open to the public. Inside the glacier itself you'll see myriad colours of blue and learn how glaciers hide the secrets of history.

After an approximately 50-minute visit within the glacier, it's time to head back to Reykjavik, following the Kaldidalur highland track, including a stop at the UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park, where you'll encounter amazing scenery. (Please note the drive along the Kaldidalur highland track, including a stop at the UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park, is only possible when the track is open, from June to September.

Day 3: City and Surroundings Exploration
Enjoy a day of exploring Reykjavik's many attractions and places of interest such as Harpa Concert Hall and Solfarid sculpture, relax with a cup of coffee, visit one of the many galleries and museums or enjoy some shopping.

Or you can choose an optional day excursion - whale watching, a visit to the Blue Lagoon, or  tour into the countryside, viewing the many spectacular natural attractions including waterfalls and volcanoes that are so close to the city.
