On this marvellous tour you visit Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Oslo, before continuing on to explore the beautiful fjords and sights of Norway.

Day 1 Stockholm Arrival
Arrive at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and transfer to your hotel. Your tour escort will meet you at 19.45hrs (before dinner) in the hotel lobby. Stockholm, one of the most beautiful capitals in the world, is built on 14 islands, and connected by 57 bridges. With 750 years of history and rich cultural life, Stockholm offers a wide selection of world class museums and attractions, most of which can be reached on foot. 2 nights in Stockholm at the Clarion Hotel Sign, with dinner at the hotel tonight.

Day 2 Stockholm: City Sightseeing & Old Town (Gamla Stan)
After your Scandinavian buffet breakfast, enjoy a 4 hour guided tour of Stockholm. Famous sights include the Royal Palace, Parliament Buildings, the island of Djurgården and the Old Town (Gamla Stan), with its narrow cobbled streets and numerous antique shops. A tour highlight is a visit to City Hall with its famous Blue and Golden Rooms, where the Nobel Prize Banquet is held each year. Afternoon free in Stockholm. Perhaps visit the Vasa Museum - the impressive warship Vasa sank on her maiden voyage in 1628 but was salvaged 333 years later in 1961. She has since been restored and can now be seen with her complete rigging. Also walk the charming streets of the famous old town, Gamla Stan, and enjoy sitting in the many bars, cafes and restaurants, to watch the passing parade. Or indulge in some Nordic shopping in the many quirky boutiques and homeware stores. 2nd overnight at the Clarion Hotel Sign. Please note that dinner is not included tonight

Day 3 Stockholm - Helsinki:  Morning at Leisure & Cruise the Archipelago
Morning free in Stockholm for exploring this beautiful city, often called the Venice of the North because of its many canals and waterways. We recommend you take one of the many canal boat tours, to really appreciate the architecture and culture of this very maritime city. In the afternoon transfer from the hotel to the ferry pier, to take the overnight ferry to Helsinki, departing at 16.45hrs. Sail slowly through the Stockholm archipelago past numerous small islands and enjoy the great views. There is a wide choice of entertainment on board including shops, a casino and bars. 2 nights on board in an A Class outside cabin with private facilities (with sole use of the cabin), including buffet dinner and breakfast.

Enjoy the bustle of the harbourside area, or perhaps take the short ferry ride to the charming Suomenlinna Fortress, since 1991 on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List, and a unique monument to European military architecture.
