Day 1 Copenhagen: Arrival
Make your own way to your hotel or there is an optional private transfer from the airport. Overnight at Hotel Tivoli or similar.

Day 2 Copenhagen - Oslo: City Sightseeing and Overnight Ferry to Oslo
Copenhagen is Scandinavia’s largest and most lively city and one of Europe’s most romantic capitals with its old castles and churches and charming squares and harbours. The morning sightseeing tour will acquaint us with all the city’s treasures: the Little Mermaid guarding the port, the Royal Castle, Nyhavn with its restaurants and small boats and the City Hall Square.  Afternoon departure for embarkation on the overnight ferry bound for Oslo. Buffet dinner onboard, in outside cabin with private facilities. The ferry also has bars and shops to enjoy.

Day 3 Oslo - Eidfjord:  Landscapes and Mountain Resorts
Upon arrival in Oslo in the morning, we head directly to Hoenefoss and Nesbyen, an area of beautiful landscapes, which alternate between forests of pines and lakes, to arrive in the lovely Hallingdal Valley. We visit the village of Gol, then continue on to Geilo, a small resort town surrounded by mountains. From here, we go on to Hardangervidda where we visit Voringfossen Waterfall, before our arrival in Eidfjord. Overnight at Hotel Quality Voringfoss or similar and dinner at the hotel.

 Day 4 Eidfjord - Bergen
This morning takes us further into the breath-taking Norwegian countryside. We cross the splendid Hardanger fjord across the Hardanger Bridge, one of the longest suspension bridge spans in the world. On the other side of the bridge we pass Nordheimsund, then travel through birch forests to reach Bergen, known as the capital of the fjords. Situated on a peninsula surrounded by 7 mountains, the history of Bergen is closely connected with the sea and trade, and the city's picturesque and historic waterfront is a delight. The afternoon sightseeing tour introduces us to this remarkable Hanseatic city, with the Bryggen area of old wooden houses, the traditional Fish Market and the city centre with the St. Mary’s Church and Haakon’s Hall the highlights. Overnight at Hotel Scandic Oernen or similar.

Day 5 Bergen - Stalheim
The morning is at leisure so you may explore more of the stunning Norwegian fjord capital  in your own time. In the afternoon, we travel to historic Voss, which has a scenic background of snow clad mountains.  After a break here, we continue towards the Naeroy Valley and Stalheim, with it's fantastic views down the Stalheim Gorge. Overnight and dinner at Hotel Stalheim or similar.

Day 6 Stalheim - Fagernes
Today we continue through the fjord region with its formidable water-drowned glacial valleys, flanked by almost impossibly rugged terrain, to Gudvangen, where we cross the Naeroyfjord and reach the village of Flam. Here you can take an optional trip on the magnificent Flam Railway, which is not only one of the world's most breathtaking rail journeys, but also a masterpiece of engineering. In the afternoon, we continue along the Aurlandfjord. We have a photo stop at the famous Borgund Stave Church before travelling on to Fagernes. Overnight at Hotel Scandic Valdres or similar.

Day 7 Fagernes - Oslo: Viking Capital
After breakfast we leave the majestic Norwegian fjords behind us and return to Oslo, for an early afternoon arrival. Founded in 1048, Oslo is Scandinavia’s oldest capital and today it is also a very pleasant and easy city with an interesting jumble of historical and modern architecture. Our city sightseeing tour starts with a walk around Frogner Park, decorated with the unique sculptures of Gustav Vigeland. We then pass by City Hall and the main street, Karl Johan, which leads to the Royal Palace. Overnight at Hotel Thon Opera or similar.

Day 8 Oslo - Stockholm: Forests, Lakes and Vistas
Today we head for Stockholm, passing through Norwegian forests and across the border, to the Swedish farm county of Varmland. Throughout the day we drive through typical, local landscapes with fertile farmland, blue lakes and thick forests, which evoke an atmosphere of intriguing fairytales. Afternoon arrival in Stockholm; 2 nights at Hotel Scandic Grand Central or similar.

Day 9 Stockholm Sightseeing
Stockholm – the beauty on the water – is undoubtedly one of the loveliest capitals in the world. Built on 14 islands, it is protected from the sea by the Skargarden archipelago. Morning sightseeing takes us to the Old Town with the Royal Palace and Stockholm Cathedral, then to the city centre with its famous City Hall.  The afternoon is yours to spend as you wish.
