Choose between 3 versions of this great tour, to see the very best of Scandinavia. Start in Oslo, continue to historic Bergen then onwards to the magnificent Norwegian fjords. Ride on the famous Norway in a Nutshell railway to Flam, enjoying the spectacular scenery, magnificent waterways, green wooded mountains, lakes and waterfalls and much more. Then you have the option to finish the tour in Stockholm, add Helsinki and then add wonderful Copenhagen.

Day 1 Oslo Arrival 
Transfer from Oslo Gardermoen Airport to your hotel. Your tour escort will meet you at 19:45hrs (before dinner) in the hotel lobby. Dinner and overnight at Thon Hotel Opera Oslo. 

Day 2 Oslo - Ulvik: Valleys, Mountains & Waterfalls 
After breakfast, visit the famous Viking Ship Museum. Then depart from Oslo, driving via Hønefoss along the charming Halling Valley to the tourist resort town of Geilo. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, cross the wild Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli, stopping to view the thundering Vøringsfoss Waterfall with a vertical drop of 180m, the highest in Norway.  
 Descend the amazing Mabodal Canyon to idealic Hardanger Fjord, cross Hardanger bridge and drive to Ulvik. Dinner and overnight at Brakanes Hotel, ideally located on the banks of the fjord.

Day 3 Ulvik - Bergen: Hardangerfjord & Historic City
After breakfast start a scenic tour along the Hardanger Fjord, famous for its many fruit orchards, via the towns of Øystese and Norheimsund, arriving in the old Hanseatic trading town of Bergen around midday. Lunch at a local restaurant, before a 2 hour tour of Bergen. This will include a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled packhouses, and also the old Hanseatic Quarter. You will ride on the funicular to Mt. Fløien, for the best views of city and fjords way below. Accommodation at the First Hotel Marin, centrally located next to the old Bryggen harbour and close to the pedestrian shopping streets. (Please note dinner tonight is NOT included)

Day 4 Bergen - Flam - Balestrand: Flam Railway
After breakfast, depart Bergen and drive via Dale to Voss town and b
oard the beautiful Bergen Railway train, bound for Myrdal mountain station. From there, ride on the amazing Flåm Railway - a masterpiece of engineering which descends 2838 feet in less than 1 hour. The journey will take you to the fjordside village of Flåm, with many photo opportunities along the way of waterfalls and mountain scenery. After a short rest in Flåm, start a 2 hour cruise along narrow Aurlands and Nærøy Fjords, both branches of Sogn Fjord, the world's longest and deepest fjord. Enjoy spectacular cascading waterfalls, sheer mountain cliffs, snow-clad peaks and a variety of wildlife. Disembark in Gudvangen at the head of Nærøy Fjord and continue by coach through the amazing Stalheim Canyon and Nærøy Valley, across the Vika Mountains to Vangsnes, for a short ferry crossing to beautiful Balestrand. Accommodation and dinner at Kvikne’s Hotel, superbly located on the banks of the fjord and surrounded by mountains.

Day 5 Balestrand Day at Leisure
A day at leisure in Balestrand gives you the opportunity to enjoy the outstanding beauty and nature of the fjords. Start with a traditional Norwegian buffet breakfast in the hotel’s elegant dining room as you decide how to spend your day. This morning, you may want to relax on the hotel terrace, breathing in the fresh mountain air and enjoying spectacular views. Or you may like to visit the local aquarium and art gallery, rent a bike or rowing boat from the hotel, or even go on foot up to the nearest mountains. A walking tour of Balestrand village, with its historic buildings and other noteworthy sites, can also be arranged. Dinner and 2nd night at Kvikne’s Hotel.

Day 6 Balestrand - Geiranger
After breakfast, depart by ferry from Dragsvik to Hella, before a scenic tour along the northern side of Sogn Fjord. Continue by road to Fjaerland, passing under Jostedal Glacier (Europe's largest), then on to Skei Village at the northern end of Lake J
ølster. Descend to beautiful Nord Fjord, making a detour at Olden to visit world-famous Briksdal Glacier. The journey up to the glacier will be made in open cars to give you the best views. Afterwards, a typical Norwegian lunch will be served in sight of the glacier. After lunch continue via Loen and Stryn, to picturesque Hellesylt village. From here, by ferry for the 1 hour cruise along spectacular Geiranger Fjord, possibly the most impressive of all the Norwegian fjords. During the cruise, you will pass close to some magnificent waterfalls, such as the Bridal Veil and Seven Sisters. Dinner and accommodation at the Union Hotel, overlooking Geiranger Fjord.

Day 7 Geiranger - Oslo
From atop famous Serpentine Road, you have the opportunity to digest some amazing views of the fjord, before crossing the rugged Grotli Mountains to Lom, well known for its 14th Century stave church. 
The tour continues via Lake Vågå before descending magnificent Gudbrands Valley to lovely Lillehammer, where we stop for lunch. Afterwards, the journey continues alongside Lake Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake, back to Oslo. Dinner and accommodation at Thon  Hotel Opera Oslo.

Day 8 Oslo - Stockholm
After breakfast, depart from Oslo, continue by coach towards the Swedish border. Cross into the attractive province of Värmland to arrive in the city of Karlstad on Lake Vänern, the largest in Sweden. Lunch in Karlstad. After lunch the tour continues through a landscape of forests and sparkling lakes to reach the Swedish capital in the late afternoon. Dinner and accommodation at Clarion Hotel Sign, a centrally located first class hotel. 

Day 9 Stockholm: City Sightseeing & Afternoon Free
4 hour guided tour of the city. Famous sights include the Royal Palace, Parliament Buildings, Cathedral, Royal Theatre, etc. You will also visit the enchanting Old Town (Gamla Stan) with its narrow cobbled streets and numerous antique shops. Highlight of the tour is a visit to City Hall with its impressive Blue and Golden Halls, where the Nobel Prize banquet is held each year. Afternoon free in Stockholm, with possibility to visit the famous Vasa Museum or take one of the popular canal tours. Accommodation at Clarion Hotel Sign. (Please note dinner tonight is NOT included)

Day 10 Stockholm - Helsinki: Cruise the Archipelago 
The 10 day tour Oslo to Stockholm ends after breakfast, with transfer to Stockholm Airport. 
Morning free in Stockholm. Afternoon transfer from hotel to ferry pier for overnight ferry  embarkation, sail slowly down the picturesque archipelago past numerous small islands. Dinner on board. Choice of entertainment, bars, shops and casino. Accommodation is in 2-berth outside cabins (seaside) with shower/WC.  We recommend bringing an overnight bag to avoid having to carrying large suitcases to and from your cabin.

Day 11 Helsinki: City Sightseeing & Afternoon Free then return to Stockholm 
Enjoy your buffet breakfast as you sail into Helsinki harbour. After disembarkation, there is a 3 hour guided tour of Helsinki. Famous sights include the Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, Sibelius Park & Monument, Underground Temple, and much more. During the afternoon, you can explore the busy market place or the many souvenir shops close to the harbour. Finnish crystal and leather goods are an excellent buy. Late afternoon departure for Stockholm. Dinner on board. 

Day 12 Stockholm - Copenhagen 
Following breakfast arrive into Stockholm at 09:30hrs.
The 12 day tour Oslo-Helsinki-Stockholm ends today after breakfast with transfer to Stockholm Airport. 
Travel by coach through southern Sweden to picturesque Lake Vattern, with a stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Then continue through the countryside via Jonkoping to Malmo. Cross the famous Oresund Bridge from Sweden to Denmark, to arrrive in wonderful Copenhagen in the early evening. Dinner and accommodation at the Admiral Hotel, located close to the Amalienborg Palace, the old Nyhavn harbour and the pedestrian streets.  

Day 13 Copenhagen Sightseeing & Tivoli Gardens
The day starts with a 3hr guided panoramic tour of the city. Famous sights include Royal Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace (Danish Parliament Buildings), Gefion Fountain,  Nyhavn and the Little Mermaid. Afternoon free for exploring this fairytale city. Your tour escort will provide you with entrance tickets to the famous Tivoli Gardens. Accommodation at the Admiral Hotel. (Please note dinner tonight is NOT included)

Day 14 Departure
Transfer from the hotel to Copenhagen Kastrup Airport to connect with your individual flight departure.
