This great short tour takes you to the major cities of the Baltic Sea - Vilnius, Tallinn, Riga and Helsinki.

Day 1 Arrive Vilnius
Upon arrival, private transfer from the airport. Overnight at Hotel Radisson Blu Lietuva or similar; check-in and early evening welcome meeting with your tour escort and fellow guests.

Day 2 Vilnius: Medieval Town Tour & Trakai Castle
With over 1,200 medieval buildings and 48 churches, your morning sightseeing offers a panoramic city tour and a walking tour of the Old Town, which includes Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne’s Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn. A
fternoon excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania. Visit well-preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. In the evening you can enjoy an optional folklore dinner at Restaurant Belmontas.

Day 3 Vilnius - Riga: Hill of Crosses and Rundale Palace 
Heading for Riga, the first stop is magnificent Hill of Crosses, one of the most holy sites of Catholic Lithuania. After crossing into Latvia, we soon reach the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Dukes of Courland. Following a guided tour of the palace, we travel through the rolling hills of Southern Latvia to reach Riga in the late afternoon.

Day 4  Gauja National Park & Sigulda
Morning tour to scenic Gauja National Park and Sigulda town. Here you can listen to the medieval legend of the Rose of Turaida and see the ruins of both the Episcopal Castle and Castle of the Knights of the Sword. Afternoon visit to the Ethnographical Open Air Museum, a spacious exposition of 18th Century country life. Evening organ concert at the lovely old Dome Cathedral.

Day 5 Riga: Town Walking Tour & Jurmala Seaside Resort 
Riga, founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a real kaleidoscope of architectural styles. The morning, Old Town walking tour includes Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, Large and Small Guilds, and Freedom Monument. Afternoon visit to Jurmala - a vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for wooden architecture and sandy beaches. This evening, you might like to enjoy the optional Latvian dinner at the stylish Restaurant Forest.

Day 6 Riga - Tallinn: Parnu Summer Resort & Land of Forests
The tour today continues along the coastal highway to the Estonian summer resort of Parnu. Here we enjoy a short tour of the resort, before we continue through the North Estonian forests to arrive in Tallinn in the early afternoon.

Day 7 Tallinn: Old Town Sightseeing, Kadriorg Park and KUMU Art Museum
Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquillity and modern urban life. The Old Town is busy in summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. Morning sightseeing takes us around the medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the medieval Old Town Hall and Great Guild Hall. Afternoon excursion to Kadriorg Park and KUMU, the award winning Estonian Art Museum with its collections of contemporary and classic fine art. In the evening, you might like to enjoy the optional medieval dinner at Restaurant Maikrahv.

Day 8 Tallinn - Helsinki; Lahemaa National Park and then Ferry Through the Finnish Archipelago
Morning visit to Lahemaa National Park where you can explore Palmse Manor, a memorial to the von Pahlen family, Sagadi Manor, Vihula Manor and the Vodka Museum. Afternoon ferry from Tallinn, through the Finnish archipelago, to Helsinki. Accommodation at Hotel Glo Art or similar.

Day 9 Helsinki: City Sightseeing & Seurasaari Open Air Museum
Helsinki is truly located at the crossroads of Western and Eastern culture and this is reflected everywhere in the green and lively Finnish capital. The sightseeing tour takes us around the harbours, Senate Square, up central Mannerheim Street and by the Parliament Building, the Finlandia Hall, and the Sibelius Monument and for a visit at the famous Church-in the-Rock. Afternoon excursion to Seurasaari Open-Air Museum, an oasis in the midst of the city with cottages, farmsteads and manors from all around Finland.

Day 10 Helsinki Departure
Private transfer from the hotel to the airport or railway station and end of arrangements.
