"If we could have, we would have stayed another week! I cannot recommend this enough for people looking for snow, adventure and relaxation. The staff were fantastic, and so incredibly helpful. The guides were knowledgeable and great fun. We took part in a wide range of activities, from snowmobiling to husky sledging to ice fishing, all equally fun in their own way. The equipment we were provided with was of good quality and really kept us warm. We also stayed 1 night at Torassieppi in an aurora dome (Arctic Glamping) which is a must for couple I'd say." - Zoe R, Tripadvisor 2017.

This great tour offers the best of winter in Lapland including a night in a cosy wilderness cabin!  Over 7 days enjoy a visit to a traditional reindeer farm including a reindeer sleigh ride, an exciting snowmobile tour to feel the speed of the snow, and then the true wilderness experience -  a husky safari to the wilderness cabin where you spend the night out in the wilderness and see the Northern Lights and their special sparkle! Then return to the comfort of your hotel for a well deserved sauna and relax before the open fire.

Day 1 Arrival in Kittila
On arrival at Kittila Airport transfer to your hotel in Muonio - the transfer time is approximately 1 hour. Remainder of the day at leisure before dinner.

Day 2 Reindeer Farm Visit
Following breakfast, pay a visit to a reindeer farm established over 100 years ago, complete with it's own museum and farmhouse. Learn to lasso reindeer as the locals do, then test your skills on a 7km long reindeer-sled safari through the forest, before lunch is served around an open fire. 2 persons share the driving of each sleigh. In the afternoon return to the hotel and perhaps enjoy a warming evening sauna before dinner.

Day 3 Snowmobile Safari
After breakfast get ready for an exciting snowmobile safari. (You must have a valid drivers licence to drive the snowmobile). After a safety and driving instruction session, start your engines! Travel through snow-covered forests and over frozen lakes, admiring the vast wilderness of Finnish Lapland. Stop for lunch by an open fire along the way before returning to the hotel. 2 persons share the driving of each snowmobile and the distance covered is approximately 60-80km, depending on the best route to suit the weather conditions. Dinner in your hotel.

Day 4 Overnight Husky Safari to Wilderness Cabin
After breakfast pack your overnight bag, ready for a truly unique overnight experience. Transfer with your guide to the husky farm where more than 400 happy arctic helpers are waiting for you. Learn about the lives of these hard working dogs, get a lesson on how to handle the sled then meet your own team of 4-5 dogs who will be your best friends for the next 2 days!  Each person drives their own dog sled. Then it’s time to start on your overnight safari. Stop for a picnic lunch by a campfire then on along the trail to the wilderness cabin, a distance of about 25 km. Test your wilderness skills by helping with light chores such as making the fire, feeding the dogs and heating the old- fashioned lakeside sauna, before you relax in the warmth of the sauna and enjoy dinner. You'll sleep well after a very special day.

Day 5 Return from the Wilderness
Early this morning start back through the astonishingly beautiful and remote arctic winter landscape to your hotel, with lunch by a campfire along the way. The distance today is about 25km. In the afternoon return to your hotel for a well deserved shower and sauna before dinner at the hotel.

Days 6 and 7 Days at leisure
Today and tomorrow are days to relax - discover the surrounding area and visit the local shops or take the opportunity to do an optional activity such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, dog-sledding, snowmobiling, Northern Lights search or downhill skiing.Tonight celebrate your week of adventure with a fabulous dinner where some unique Lappish specialities are served, before your last overnight in the hotel.
