This tour takes you on an unforgettable journey through beautiful South Norway, with the opportunity to experience wonderful, fun Winter activities. Explore Oslo and Bergen, experience the fjords and mountains while comfortable travelling by rail, boat and bus, plus enjoy a Husky Safari and a real Viking feast dinner. The ultimate Southern Norway Winter experience!

Day 1: Oslo Arrival
Upon your arrival in Oslo, make your own way to your hotel and remainder of the day at leisure.  The Norwegian capital is beautifully situated at the head of the Oslo Fjord and surrounded by forested ridges. Oslo offers many well known sights such as the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum, the Munch Museum and the Holmenkollen Ski Jump.  Overnight at Saga Hotel or similar.

Day 2: Oslo - Geilo by Train: Husky Safari
After breakfast, make your own way to the train station for your journey to the charming mountain resort town of Geilo, close to the Hallingskarvet and Hardangervidda National Parks, and the perfect destination for outdoor winter fun. On arival in Geilo make your own way to your hotel. This afternoon, enjoy a husky safari. Start with a transfer to the husky farm, and here meet the friendly huskies, and prepare for a real adventure! After a driving lesson, head out into the amazing arctic landscape, surrounded by white covered mountains and forsts. With 2 persons per sled sharing the driving, there’s also a chance of spotting wildlife on the way through the snow covered landscapes, as you travel behind your four legged, furry friends. Overnight at Ustedalen Hotel or similar. 

Day 3: Geilo – Myrdal - Flåm: Guided Walk and Viking Dinner
After breakfast, make your own way to the Geilo train station for your journey to Flam via Myrdal,  travelling through a countryside of mountains and valleys. Change trains at Myrdal mountain station to join the world famous Flåm Railway. This iconic 20km journey offers wild and beautiful scenery, through tunnels that spiral in and out of the mountain, manifestations of the most daring and skilful engineering in Norwegian railway history. The train ride finishes at the charming fjordside village of Flam, nestled deep in Aurlandsfjord and surrounded by steep mountains. Disembark and walk the short distance to your hotel - nearby, you’ll find the award winning Ægir Brewery built in the style of a Viking longhouse, the Flam Railway Museum (with free entry), boutiques and cafes. This evening, join an evening walk around Flåm followed by a real Viking dinner at the Brewery.  Overnight at the Flamsbyrgga Hotel or similar. 

Day 4: Flåm – Gudvangen - Voss
After breakfast, it is a short walk from your hotel to the pier to board the boat for your cruise along the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen. The Nærøyfjord is the narrowest fjord channel in Europe and has recently been added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List. From Gudvangen, the journey continues by bus through Nærøyfjord Valley and past the Stalheimskleiva with its 13 steep hairpin bends to Voss. On arrrival into Voss make your own way to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure in Voss and overnight at the Myrkdalen Hotel or similar. 

Day 5: Voss – Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel, then make your own way to the train station for your journey from Voss to Bergen. Bergen is Norway’s second largest city and the world’s only city surrounded by 7 mountains and 7 fjords.This old Hanseatic trading city is full of history and tradition, an international city that has retained its small-town charm and atmosphere, and offers an exciting blend of nature and culture. Visit the Fish and Flower markets, take the funicular up Mount Floyen for amazing views, and explore the shops, cafes and centuries old wooden houses of the old wharf area. This afternoon explore the city on your own and take the cable car up to Floibanen to experience the impressive view of Bergen and its surroundings from high up.  Overnight at the Augustin Hotel or similar.

Day 6: Bergen 
Arrangements end this morning after breakfast.
