This Private Tour with car, driver and guide, takes you on a wonderful journey through Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Along with over a millennium of history, there are remarkable contrasts between their Medieval pasts and the modern destinations they have now become, with plenty of scenic countryside in between. The major Baltic cities were some of the wealthiest and most important in medieval, Northern Europe - both Estonia and Latvia can boast a glorious Hanseatic and Livonian legacy, while Lithuania was a vital component of the biggest state, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. However, for most of the 19th and 20th Centuries, interrupted only by the interwar period, they all became forgotten treasures, incorporated first into Imperial Russia, then the Soviet Union. Since regaining Independence in the early 1990’s, they have recovered their past glories and seats on maps of today’s Eastern Europe.
