This tour departs from either Reykjavik or Copenhagen and is available as either a 4 or 5 day tour. The itinerary shown below is for the 4 day tour from Reykjavik.
Make your own way to the airport for your flight from Reykjavik to Ilulissat. On arrival, transfer to Hotel Arctic, check-in, then meet your local guide for an introduction and welcome meeting. Then enjoy a guided walk around the town - visit the older areas, to see the original buildings dating from the early settlement of this former Danish trading station, as well as the busy fishing harbour, the old Zion Church & the museum. Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner in the hotel restaurant, which specializes in 'fresh from the fjords and fells' cuisine.
