Itinerary
Day 1 Oslo Arrival
Arrival in Oslo and make your own way to your hotel. Perhaps visit one of Oslo's museums: the Fram Polar Expedition museum, the Kon Tiki Museum and Vigelund Sculpture Park. Or take a stroll through the old wharf area of Bryggen, now bustling with bars and cafes. Visit the Munch Museum, the Maritime Museum and Akershus Fortress, and much more. Overnight at a centrally located hotel in Oslo.
Day 2 Oslo – Geilo
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure from Oslo by train to Geilo. The Bergen railway is considered to be one of the World's most scenics train rides, through spectacular and varied nature. Make your own way from Geilo train station to your accommodation at Dr Holms Hotel or similar for one night.
Day 3 Geilo – Myrdal – Flåm – Sogndal
Breakfast at the hotel and make your own way to Geilo station, train from Geilo to the famous Flåmsbana, one of the most beautiful panoramic train journeys through stunning nature and waterfalls. The train will take you to Flåm, located just by the fjord and surrounded by mountains. From Flåm you will take a bus to Sogndal, for two overnights at Quality Hotel Sogndal or similar.
Day 4 Sogndal
Day at leisure or ask us about optional excursions: In the summer, perhaps a guided hike on the glacier or evening fjord cruise. In the winter, the possibility to go skiing and snowshoeing.
Day 5 Sogndal – Bergen: Sognefjord Cruise
Breakfast at the hotel and morning at leisure explore the picturesque village of Sogndal. Afternoon departure by boat to Bergen. Cruise along the tranquil waters of the Sognefjord, Norway's longest and deepest fjord, passing rocky shores, gushing waterfalls and jaw-dropping mountains. Disembark the boat in Bergen and make your own way to your accommodation at a centrally located hotel in Bergen for two overnights.
Day 6 Bergen
Day at leisure or ask us about optional excursions, such as a round trip by cable car to enjoy the wonderful view.
Day 7 Bergen Departure
Arrangements end after breakfast.
