Itinerary
29 July Tromsø Arrival
Airport bus transfer from Tromso airport to the city centre. Check in to the Clarion Collection Aurora Hotel or similar for overnight stay. Remainder of the day at leisure. Afternoon coffee and pastries and a light evening buffet at the hotel are included.
30 July Tromsø - Narvik
This morning after breakfast, meet your tour escort and tour group. Begin your journey with a drive from Tromsø to Narvik. Stop at a farm, where you will enjoy some local snacks, a walk and storytelling. Packed lunch en-route. Arrive in Narvik and check in to the Quality Hotel Grand Royal or similar. Dinner at the hotel. This evening head up to Narvikfjellet and experince the cable car ride with panoramic views of Narvik.
31 July Narvik - Lofoten Islands
Today your journey continues to the capital of the Lofoten Islands, Svolvær. Lunch stop included en-route, in beautiful surroundings. Arrival in Svolvær and check in at the Thon Hotel Svolvær or similar. Remainder of the evening at leisure. Optional evening excursion: Explorer cruise to Henningsvær. Enter an old cod fish steaming house for a guided visit followed by a walking tour into the the historic Henningsvær city centre. Then roam around the town and discover its quaint and picturesque buildings, restaurants, shops and galleries.
01 August Lofoten Islands
Full day exploring the Lofoten islands, with lunch included. The exact route will be decided on the day according to conditions, as follows or similar: Svolvær - Flakstad (photo stop) - Reine (lunch break), Hauklandstranda (short walk or hike around the area), Henningsvær (short city walk) - return to Svolvær.
02 August Lofoten Islands - Vesterålen
From Lofoten you continue exploring the islands, as you head North to Vesterålen, lunch is included en-route and in the afternoon a whale watching excursion. Check in at the Thon Hotel Andrikken Andenes or similar. Dinner tonight at a local restaurant.
03 August Vesterålen - Senja
Today you journey from the Vesterålen islands to Senja, a part of the journey will be by ferry. Senja is another breath-taking destination in Northern Norway. Lunch en-route is included. Check in to the Mefjord Brygge Hotel or similar for overnight stay. Dinner at the hotel.
04 August Senja - Tromsø
From Senja you will head back to Tromsø, part of the journey by ferry. Lunch is included en-route. In Tromsø, experience the cable car ride at Fjellheisen. Look out on the North and take in the beauty that Northern Norway offers. Farewell beverage included at the top of Tromsø. Check in to the Clarion Collection Aurora Hotel or similar for overnight stay. A light evening buffet at the hotel is included.
05 August Tromsø Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Arrangements end today with airport bus transfer to Tromsø airport.
