Snowmobile Safari 6-7hrs: explore the majestic Lyngen Alps with a local guide. The Lyngen Alps area is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Northern Norway, a wilderness playground with designated and well-maintained trails. The actual snowmobile tour lasts 60 to 90 minutes of snowmobiling, with time to enjoy the fascinating surroundings of mountains, forest and fjords. Enjoy a hot meal in a lavvu.
Husky Safari 4hrs: ride in beautiful settings surrounded by white mountains and long fjords. After about an hour of sledding through the vast arctic wilderness, you will return to the husky farm where you can meet the puppies. Enjoy a typical Sami dish in a lavvu.
Discover Tromso 5hrs: a slow-paced Arctic scenery tour around the picturesque and breathtaking island of Kvaløya; the fifth biggest island of Norway. Discover Arctic wildlife while enjoying stunning mountain views and endless fjord views. Keep your eyes open for eagles, sea otters, seals, foxes, moose, and reindeer. Enjoy lunch on Sommarøy; an island known for its white beaches and fishing activities.
Ice Fishing 5hrs: not far from Tromsø, in a hidden valley and fjord, you will find an Arctic paradise that remains largely untouched. The tour starts with a scenic drive through valleys, fjords, and mountains. At the fjord, we equip ourselves with an ice drill and ice fishing equipment and head out onto the frozen lake surrounded by wild and breathtaking nature. We drill a hole in the ice and wait patiently for the fish while we look into the hole, remove ice and let our minds wander. This is a great choice for those who want to explore more and experience wild nature, culture, and northern Norwegian elements, on a frozen lake.
Sami and Reindeer 4hrs: the reindeer sleigh is the oldest form of transportation in the north and an inherent part of the Sami culture. People of all ages can participate in this easy adventure. During this experience you will also learn how to throw a lasso. This activity is needed in the traditional Sami lifestyle to catch the reindeer. Learn about Sami culture and history, and discover the joyous ancestral song of Sami. Maybe your Sami guides even reveal some secrets of survival in the Arctic as you prepare hot drinks and a traditional meal over the fire.
This evening, enjoy an Aurora Fjord Cruise from Tromso Harbour. Sail around the Arctic capital and enjoy the city from the sea. Seeing the Aurora from the sea is even more special as light pollution disappears in the dark sea. With some luck on your side, the Northern Lights may shine for you.
