Itinerary
Day 1 Kittilä Arrival
On arrival at Kittilä Airport transfer to your accommodation Hotel Jeris in Muonio - transfer time is approx.1 hour. Remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner at the hotel.
Days 2 - 3 Autumn Activities
The next two days are filled with some amazing autumn fun! Details of the excursions are shown below - the timing for each of these activities will be provided to you at check-in. Meals are served each day at the hotel restaurant.
Reindeer Farm: visit a traditional Lappish farmhouse and reindeer farm. Meet the reindeer, learn about reindeer husbandry today and in the past and feed the reindeer.
Aurora Campfire: learn about the origin of the Northern Lights and the myths and stories behind the phenomenon around an evening campfire.
Evening National Park Hike: Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park is amongst the most popular parks in Finland. Experience its vast fell landscapes and breathe in the pure air on this guided hike.
Arctic Sauna World: a true Finnish sauna experience with four different saunas and an opportunity to plunge into the refreshing, clean waters of Lake Jerisjärvi.
River Rafting: experience four rapids with a trained guide and be prepared to get splashed. After white water rafting, relax by an open fire with a hot drink.
Day 4 Kittilä Departure
Arrangements end after breakfast with your transfer to Kittilä airport.
